ABOUT MARK’S METALS
I’ve been creating things from wood and metal as long as I can remember—maybe it all started from the old van my family chopped up when we were kids. The roof with the windshield we used as kind of a sled on a hill in town. Us kids would drag it up to the top of the hill and then sit on the inverted roof and go sliding down the hill down into the field. No snow, just rocks and dirt and slippery grass. Our guardian angels were very busy with us kids playing with car roofs as sleds.
Since then, I’ve learned how to fix and build all sorts of things—as a dad, a long-time member of the Toyota team, a homeowner, and a handyman.
